Mother Goose is a structured lapsit story time which uses repetition, musical patterns, baby-friendly visuals and movement to prepare pre-readers for reading and writing on their own. This innovative program is inspired by research into the brain development of very young children and the most effective ways to teach literacy skills.
Bedford Public Library System has added the Mother Goose curriculum to our childrens programming at the Montvale Library Branch.
The program is held on Mondays and Fridays at 10:30am. Click here for a complete schedule of childrens programming. |
